The BD SAF T INTIMA Integrated Safety IV Catheter System combines an IV catheter, wings, extension tubing, and Y adapter in an integrated design for peripheral venous access. The 24 G x 3/4 in. catheter uses BD Vialon biomaterial and features an automated needle shielding mechanism designed to help protect against needlestick injuries.
