Practi-Sodium Bicarbonate 4.2% (5 mEq/mL) in a 10 mL pre-filled syringe, simulates a commonly administered hypertonic solution of sodium bicarbonate in water as an electrolyte replenisher and systemic alkalizer in infants. Each syringe is pre-filled with distilled water, and is clearly marked and bar coded for easy identification and verification. The syringe has a luer tip that fits entry ports into IV tubing or to attach to companion needles for a more complete practice.
